The incident occurred on 2/10/11 at approximately 17:15 hours when an unknown male attempted to steal a shopping cart full of groceries. The man was stopped by a Price Chopper employee in the parking lot and the male subject then fled on foot leaving the groceries behind.

The Brattleboro Police Department is currently investigating a shoplifting incident that occurred at the Price Chopper on Canal Street. The incident occurred on 2/10/11 at approximately 17:15 hours when an unknown male attempted to steal a shopping cart full of groceries. The man was stopped by a Price Chopper employee in the parking lot and the male subject then fled on foot leaving the groceries behind.
