On 11/3/11 Brattleboro Police, while patrolling the downtown area, saw Clinton Rumrill enter the Rocky Top Tavern. Officers knew that Rumrill was prohibited from entered this establishment after his involvement in a fight there this past summer.
Officers contacted Rumrill and he was arrested for trespassing. He was issued a citation to appear in court at a later date.

Within a short time Police were able to locate the male in the Quality Inn parking lot. When police arrived the driver of the vehicle, Robert Proude ran into a parked vehicle. After a short investigation police were able to determine that Proude was in fact intoxicated and he was arrested for DUI. Proude was processed at the Brattleboro Police Department and issued a citation to court for a later date and time.
